Dr. Peters is a American Board of Pathology certified forensic pathologist and has been practicing Forensic Pathology since 1997. He is the former Deputy Chief Medical Examiner for Pima County, AZ (Tucson) and retired from that position in 2022 after nearly 24 years of public service. He has performed nearly 6000 forensic autopsies and has testified at trial, deposition, and pretrial interviews over 250 times. He has consulted for the prosecution and defense in both criminal and civil cases at the County, State and Federal levels.
